Super Eagles coach Chelle demands 130000 monthly in new deal
Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has reportedly demanded a new contract worth 130000 dollars monthly to continue in charge of Nigeria’s senior national team. The proposed amount is more than double his current salary of 50000 dollars a month. Details of the demand were made public by Nigerian journalist Shina Oludare, who shared parts of Chelle’s 19 point proposal to the Nigeria Football Federation. Chelle said the 130000 dollar monthly package would cover his own wages, those of his entire technical crew and his personal assistant. Beyond the salary increase, Chelle’s conditions reportedly include better working tools, a standard office, a dedicated car and driver, and a fully serviced residence with constant power supply.
