Robots au Service des Océans : Des Lycéens Togolais Relèvent le Défi Technologique et Écologique

Quand la Jeunesse Togolaise Allie Technologie et Écologie Le futur se construit dès aujourd’hui — et au Jump Lab STEM Center de Dapaong, les élèves du lycée ont relevé un défi de taille : concevoir des robots capables de protéger la biodiversité marine. Lors de la première édition de la First Lego League Challenge Togo, c’est l’équipe Clever Sharks qui a remporté les honneurs avec un robot nettoyeur sous-marin, destiné à sauver les animaux en détresse et collecter les déchets plastiques dans les océans. Telecel Ghana Foundation Enhances STEM Education in Central Region.

On September 24, 2024, the Telecel Ghana Foundation made a substantial investment in STEM education for young learners in the Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese district of Central Region. The foundation donated ten desktop computers and eight state-of-the-art coding and robotics kits to support Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education in local primary and junior high schools in the communities of Ansafona, Patoako, and Kwaman.This initiative, in collaboration with the Enos Promise Foundation and STEM kit manufacturer Mingo Blox, aims to equip under-resourced schools with essential educational resources, bridging the digital divide and inspiring students to engage with technology early in their education.Rita Agyeiwaa Rockson, Head of Foundation, Sustainability, and External Communications at Telecel Ghana, emphasized the transformative power of technology in education during the donation ceremony.
