A 47-year-old man from Liverpool has been banned from all football stadiums in the UK after being arrested for racially abusing Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo during Friday’s Premier League opener against Liverpool at Anfield. The match was briefly halted in the first half when Semenyo reported the abuse to the referee. Police confirmed the suspect was arrested on Saturday on suspicion of a racially aggravated public order offence and later released on bail.
