2027: Kwankwaso Will Be Partner As VP, Not ‘Spare Tyre’ – Peter Obi
Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 election, Peter Obi, says his running mate, former Kano State governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, will serve as a full partner in governance and not a ceremonial “spare tyre” if they win. Obi made the declaration while accepting his nomination as NDC presidential candidate and formally announcing Kwankwaso as his vice-presidential pick.
