Police Arrest Sex Trafficking Syndicate, Rescue 15 Young Girls in Ondo

Police in Ondo State have dismantled a notorious sex trafficking syndicate that was exploiting young women under the guise of job recruitment and social media content creation. According to DSP Olushola Ayanlade, the command’s spokesperson, the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit arrested Jayeola Joshua alongside two other suspects in Akure, where 15 young girls aged 20 to 26 were rescued from an apartment used for illicit activities. Investigations showed that victims were lured across Nigeria with false promises of lucrative jobs, usher work, and overseas placements.
