Police Kill Three Kidnappers, Rescue Abducted Victim in Oyo
The Oyo State Police Command has killed three suspected kidnappers during a rescue operation, successfully freeing an abducted victim who had been held hostage in the state. According to the police, the operation followed sustained pressure mounted on the kidnappers, which eventually led to the release of the victim. The Command said extensive bush-combing operations, surveillance patrols, and raids on suspected criminal hideouts across the area resulted in the neutralization of the three suspects. One of the suspects linked to the crime was identified through intelligence gathering and community identification.
