Estonia blasts Russia over brazen airspace violation
Estonia’s foreign ministry has accused Russia of violating its airspace, calling the incursion by Russian fighter jets “brazen” and “extremely dangerous.” According to officials in Tallinn, three Russian MiG-31 warplanes entered Estonian airspace without permission on Friday, flying over the Gulf of Finland for a total of 12 minutes. The aircraft reportedly had their transponders switched off, a move seen as a direct provocation against a NATO member state.
