FG files treason terrorism charges against ex minister Sylva and others
The Federal Government has filed a 13 count charge at the Federal High Court in Abuja against former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Timipre Sylva and six others over an alleged plot to wage war against Nigeria and commit acts of terrorism. Those charged alongside Sylva are retired Major General Mohammed Ibrahim Gana, retired Navy Captain Erasmus Victor, serving police inspector Ahmed Ibrahim, Zekeri Umoru, Bukar Goni and Abdulkadir Sani. They are expected to be arraigned on Wednesday before Justice Joyce Abdulmalik. Court documents describe Sylva as being at large.
