APC: FCT, Kano, Rivers victories are clear referendum on Tinubu govt
The All Progressives Congress has described its victories in the recent elections in the Federal Capital Territory, Kano and Rivers States as a clear referendum in favour of President Bola Tinubu’s administration. Party leaders say the results show growing public approval of the president’s reforms despite economic hardship and opposition criticism. In separate statements, the APC National Chairman, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, and the Lagos State chapter hailed the outcomes as a “resounding endorsement” of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. They argued that voters used the FCT council polls and by elections in Rivers and Kano to reward the ruling party for what they called bold leadership, infrastructure projects and efforts to stabilise the economy.
