Tinubu says he took over from himself after Buhari
President Bola Tinubu has said he does not dwell on the state of the economy he met in office because he believes he simply took over from himself when he succeeded the late former President Muhammadu Buhari. Tinubu made the comment while hosting the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, a group created to explain his government’s agenda and reforms across the country. He described Buhari as his partner and argued that taking over from him was like taking over from himself. He told the group that leadership is a difficult journey but urged them to remain committed to renewing citizens’ hope.
