Islamist Militants Use Northern Ghana as Logistics Hub.

Security experts reveal that groups such as the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS) and Jama'at Nasr al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM) have begun leveraging the porous northern borders to move supplies, personnel, and gather intelligence.Ghana’s northern region, which shares boundaries with Burkina Faso, has experienced relatively low militant activity compared to its neighbors.
