Davido joins Kuti family as Fela gets Grammy Lifetime Award

Afrobeats star Davido joined members of the Kuti family in Los Angeles for the Grammy Honors Party held in celebration of late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti, who is receiving a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy. The event marks Fela as the first African artist to receive the prestigious honour. Videos shared on Instagram by Davido’s logistics manager, Israel DMW, showed Davido with Femi and Yeni Kuti and other team members at the ceremony.
