INEC moves 2027 presidential, NASS polls to January 16

Kano begins Ramadan health inspections in all LGAs

The Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board has begun preparations for a special Ramadan health inspection across all 44 local government areas to promote hygiene and public health during the holy month.​ Director General of the board, Prof Salisu Ahmed Ibrahim, disclosed this at a strategic coordination meeting with local government health educators and ward environmental health officers in Kano. Terrorists kill 34 fasting Muslims in Kebbi attack

At least 34 Muslims fasting for Ramadan have been killed in coordinated attacks on several villages in Kebbi State, northwestern Nigeria.
