Asisat Oshoala: ‘I once dreamed of being a lawyer, not a footballer’

Super Falcons and Bay FC striker Asisat Oshoala has revealed that her childhood dream was to become a lawyer, not a professional footballer. She said she was an intelligent student and her parents strongly pushed her towards education and a legal career. Oshoala explained that as a young girl growing up in Ikorodu, Lagos, she loved football so much that she often had to sneak out or lie just to go and play with friends.
