Princess of Wales to visit Italy after recovery

Catherine, Princess of Wales will travel to Reggio Emilia next week for her first official overseas engagement since undergoing cancer treatment. The two-day visit, scheduled for 13–14 May, will focus on her long-standing work in early childhood development. During the trip, she will explore the internationally recognised Reggio Emilia approach, which emphasises play-based learning, strong relationships and child-led development. According to Kensington Palace, the princess is “very much looking forward” to the visit. She is expected to meet educators, families, local officials and business leaders to better understand how the approach supports children’s growth. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and First Lady Oluremi Tinubu were hosted with pomp and splendour by King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Windsor Castle, marking the first state visit by a Nigerian leader to the United Kingdom in 37 years . Catherine and Charlotte play piano duet for Christmas

The Princess of Wales and her daughter, Princess Charlotte, shared a special musical moment this Christmas by performing a piano duet for a festive carol service. Although they did not appear live at the Together at Christmas concert held earlier this month at Westminster Abbey, their performance was recorded in advance at Windsor Castle. The duet was broadcast on Christmas Eve as part of ITV1’s coverage of the annual event. The piece performed, Holm Sound by Scottish composer Erland Cooper, is understood to be familiar to both mother and daughter and one they often enjoy playing together in private.
