Tinubu celebrates Anyim at 65, hails him as bridge builder
President Bola Tinubu has congratulated former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim on his 65th birthday, describing him as a bridge builder and dependable ally of progressive politics. He praised Anyim’s long and consistent role in Nigeria’s democracy since the return to civil rule. Tinubu said Anyim has shown rare courage in public service and often chosen difficult but principled positions in defence of democratic institutions.
