Controversial singer Speed Darlington has explained that his 23 years in the United States brought him more legal troubles and emotional distress than success or money. He said his time there was dominated by arrests, criminal records and loneliness rather than the “American Dream” many expect.​ Darlington described America as isolating and racially biased, alleging that as a black man he constantly felt undervalued and pressured to overprove himself before getting any respect. Controversial street pop artist Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, has again criticised his father, saying his life is better without him. The singer made a fresh set of allegations in a recent Instagram Live video, accusing his father of neglect and exploiting his success.​ Portable claimed his father only shows interest in him when money is involved and never supports him during police or marital problems. Portable Plans Return to School to Manage Music Career

Nigerian street-pop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed he will return to school to gain better knowledge for handling his music career and running his business professionally. The Zazoo Zehh singer shared in a new Instagram video that, despite holding a National Diploma from Kwara State Polytechnic, he wants to further his education to improve management of his record label, Zeh Nation. Portable explained, “Even though I already have an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, I still want to further my education.
