Nigerian street-pop artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed he will return to school to gain better knowledge for handling his music career and running his business professionally. The Zazoo Zehh singer shared in a new Instagram video that, despite holding a National Diploma from Kwara State Polytechnic, he wants to further his education to improve management of his record label, Zeh Nation.
Portable explained, “Even though I already have an OND from Kwara State Polytechnic, I still want to further my education. I sponsor people and my children too to avoid stories like ‘Portable didn’t go to school’ in the future. So, I want to go back to school to monitor and understand my music royalties and business deals better, especially for my record label, Zeh Nation.”
He stressed the importance of acquiring knowledge and skills to oversee contracts, royalties, and business deals personally, rather than depending on others.
Portable has been in the spotlight for both his energetic performances and a series of controversies. Earlier this year, he faced legal battles with Fuji star Saheed Osupa and conflicts with Ogun State authorities over property development and assault charges. Each episode has fueled his desire for personal growth and transformation.
The artiste says returning to education is about shaping a future where he can manage his brand and business with confidence and professionalism.

The World Health Organization has warned that a cholera outbreak in Sudan has killed 120 people. The outbreak is affecting West Kordofan state, where health officials have reported 838 suspected cases and seven confirmed cases so far. WHO said the situation is getting worse because the conflict in Sudan has disrupted health services and forced many people to leave their homes. The agency added that insecurity and limited access are slowing the delivery of medical supplies and the work of response teams. WHO said it is working with partners to expand treatment centres, set up oral rehydration points, distribute cholera kits, and support hygiene and health education in affected communities.
