Rubio Tells NATO Ministers Trump Very Disappointed Over Iran War Stance
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has told NATO ministers that President Donald Trump is very disappointed with alliance members that have not allowed the United States to use military bases on their soil for operations in the Iran war. In a pointed remark to reporters in Miami before departing for a NATO foreign ministers' gathering in Helsingborg Sweden Rubio singled out Spain for refusing US access to its bases. He questioned why nations like Spain remain in NATO if they deny the United States use of their military facilities.
