Ajibade leads Super Falcons camp as Cameroon friendlies begin

Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade and 16 other players have arrived in camp at the Hilton Hotel, Yaounde, ahead of two pre WAFCON friendly matches against Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses.​ Both friendlies will be played at the Military Stadium in Yaounde on Saturday, 28 February, and Tuesday, 3 March. The games are part of both teams’ preparations for the 14th Women Africa Cup of Nations, which will hold in Morocco from 17 March to 3 April 2026.​ Reigning champions and 10 time winners Nigeria will play in Group C alongside Zambia, Egypt and debutants Malawi, opening their title defence against Malawi on 18 March in Casablanca.
