Troops kill eight terrorists in Borno, seize RPGs, guns and armed drone

Nigerian troops have killed eight Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists in separate clashes in Borno State and recovered heavy weapons, including rocket propelled grenades, rifles and an armed drone. Troops kill five terrorists, rescue three abducted children in Borno

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have neutralised five terrorists and rescued three abducted children in separate operations carried out in Borno State. The Joint Task Force said the operations took place between February 20 and 21 as part of ongoing efforts to crush insurgent groups in the North East. Spokesman for Operation Hadin Kai, Lieutenant Colonel Sanni Uba, said troops on fighting patrol made contact with suspected JAS and ISWAP members around Sabsawa village. Troops kill Boko Haram commander in Borno, recover nearly N40m cash

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have killed a Boko Haram commander and recovered almost N40 million in cash during an operation in Borno State. The Nigerian Army said the troops intercepted a suspicious vehicle believed to be moving funds for the terror group in the north east. According to military sources, the operation followed credible intelligence that insurgents were relocating large sums of money meant for logistics, recruitment and the purchase of weapons. ISWAP second in command killed as military steps up Sambisa offensive

Troops arrest 65‑year‑old woman over drugs for Boko Haram

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested a 65‑year‑old woman, Hauwa Abulazeez, for allegedly supplying cannabis sativa to Boko Haram terrorists in parts of Borno State. She was picked up in Askira Uba Local Government Area during Operation Desert Sanity V.​ Military spokesman Lt Col Sani Uba said Hauwa is suspected to be a key conduit, distributing cannabis to Boko Haram elements operating around Askira Uba, Rumirgo, Gwahi, Wamdiyo, Uvu and Gaya, as well as several nearby communities. Troops repel terrorist drone strikes, maintain battlefield edge

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have repelled terrorist drone attacks during operations along the Timbuktu Triangle in Borno State, maintaining control of the area. NAF airstrikes kill over 40 terrorists in Borno

The Nigerian Air Force has killed more than 40 terrorists in air operations at Azir and Musarram areas of Borno State.
