Tems, Burna Boy break record for most Billboard Hot 100 entries by African artists

Afrobeats stars Tems and Burna Boy have made history by becoming the African artists with the most entries ever on the prestigious U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Nigerian duo have now each recorded eight appearances on the Hot 100, moving past South African rock band Seether, who previously shared the record with seven entries. Their latest milestone came through guest features on American rapper J. Cole’s new album, “The Fall-Off.” “Bounce Road Blues,” featuring Tems and Future, debuted at number 34, while “Only You,” which features Burna Boy, entered at number 78, pushing both singers to eight Hot 100 credits apiece.
