Breaking: Gunmen Kidnap Ex-Minister Adelabu’s Sister, Children in Ibadan
Armed gunmen kidnapped the younger sister of immediate past Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, and her 12-year-old twin sons early Wednesday morning in the Elewura area of Challenge, Ibadan, in another wave of abductions rocking Oyo State. The victims, identified as Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, 43, and her twin sons Peter and Paul, were abducted by armed men at about 7:30 a.m. while Mrs. John-Paul was taking her children to school in Ibadan. The incident occurred in the Elewura, Challenge area of Ibadan South West Local Government Area. Confirming the incident, Adelabu's media aide, Femi Awogboro, said armed men intercepted Mrs. John-Paul and forcefully took her and her twin sons to an unknown destination.
