IMANI Africa Blames Gov’t for Ghana Helicopter Crash
Franklin Cudjoe, President of IMANI Africa, has criticized the former Akufo-Addo administration in the wake of the August 6 helicopter crash that killed eight people, including two cabinet ministers. The victims included: Defence Minister Dr Edward Omane Boamah Environment Minister Dr Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed Six others, among them military personnel They were traveling to Obuasi for the launch of the Responsible Co-operative Mining and Skills Development Programme (COMSDEP) — an initiative aimed at combating illegal mining — when the aircraft crashed in the Adansi Akrofuom District of the Ashanti Region.
