Troops Kill 38 ISWAP Fighters In Northeast Joint Operations

Nigerian troops have killed at least 38 fighters of the Islamic State West Africa Province in a series of joint ground and air operations in the Northeast. The operations were carried out under Operation Hadin Kai after intelligence reports indicated plans by the terrorists to launch attacks on military positions and nearby communities. According to military sources, ISWAP units attempted coordinated assaults on multiple fronts, using a mix of fighters and support elements.
