Court rejects Nnamdi Kanu’s bid to leave Sokoto prison

The Federal High Court in Abuja has rejected an application by IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu seeking to be moved from the Sokoto Correctional Centre to a custodial facility closer to Abuja. Appeal Court strikes out Nnamdi Kanu’s rights violation case

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has struck out an appeal by convicted IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, ruling that his case alleging violations of fundamental rights by the Director General of the DSS and the Attorney-General of the Federation lacked merit and had become academic.
