Nigerian DJs drop Burna Boy songs over DJ Tunez row

The Nigerian DJ Association has asked its members to stop playing Burna Boy songs for now, following an alleged assault on DJ Tunez at a Lagos nightclub. Burna Boy and members of his team reportedly had a clash with disc jockey Michael Babatunde Adeyinka, known as DJ Tunez, during the event. Eyewitnesses said a disagreement at the club escalated into a physical confrontation, leaving DJ Tunez assaulted. In a statement shared on Instagram, the association expressed support for DJ Tunez and urged all DJs across the country to remain professional and alert while working at events.
