Motorcyclist Killed by Truck in Ondo Road Accident

A motorcyclist was crushed to death by a truck on Wednesday morning along Oda Road in Akure, the Ondo State capital. According to an eyewitness, the accident occurred when a speeding truck lost control and rammed into the motorcycle. The victim, who was returning home after dropping his children off at school, died instantly at the scene. The witness described the incident as a "very sad scene." The body of the deceased has been taken to a mortuary, while the truck driver reportedly fled the scene. Fatal Tanker Fire Explosion on Ogun Expressway

Pastor Arrested for Alleged Rape of Sisters in Enugu

A 63-year-old pastor in Enugu State has been arrested and charged with the rape of two sisters, aged 16 and 19. The suspect, Luke Eze, is the pastor of City of Hope Ministry in the Oghe community. NAHCON Cuts 2026 Hajj Fare, Pilgrims to Save ₦200,000

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has announced reduced fares for the 2026 pilgrimage to Mecca, with each pilgrim expected to save an average of ₦200,000 compared to last year.
