Edo Police Rescue Abducted Woman, Foil Kidnap on Benin–Lagos Road Report:The Edo State Police Command has rescued Elohor Osifoh, a woman abducted on September 10, and reunited her with her family. Police also foiled an attempted kidnapping of three travellers along the Benin–Lagos expressway in the early hours of Saturday. Command spokesperson SP Moses Yamu confirmed the development in a statement on Sunday, noting that both incidents underscore the renewed push to tackle recurring abductions along major highways in the state.
