Tinubu condemns Borno abductions, urges Nigerians to resist fear

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has condemned the recent terrorist attack and mass abductions in Ngoshe community, Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State, and urged Nigerians not to give in to fear. He directed the Armed Forces and other security agencies to urgently rescue all those abducted during the assault, which was carried out by suspected Boko Haram and ISWAP terrorists. The attack left several people dead and many others kidnapped shortly after residents had broken their fast on Wednesday evening. DSS files cybercrime charges against El Rufai over alleged bugging of NSA Ribadu’s phone

The Department of State Services has filed cybercrime charges against former Kaduna State governor Nasir El Rufai over the alleged unlawful interception of National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu’s phone communications. The case was filed at the Federal High Court in Abuja, days after El Rufai claimed in a live TV interview that he listened to a tapped phone call in which Ribadu allegedly ordered security agents to detain him. El Rufai demands answers over alleged toxic chemical purchase by ONSA

Former Kaduna State governor Nasir El Rufai has accused the Office of the National Security Adviser, led by Nuhu Ribadu, of procuring an odourless and highly poisonous chemical substance. Saudi Arabia warns UAE as Yemen rift deepens

Saudi Arabia has warned that its national security is a red line after a Saudi led coalition airstrike on Yemen’s southern port of Mukalla targeted what it said was a UAE linked weapons shipment for southern separatist forces.
