Zam: Natasha is not a North Central commission committee member

Chairman of the Senate Committee on the North Central Development Commission, Titus Zam, says Kogi Central lawmaker Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan is not a member of his committee, contrary to her claims. He said she was therefore not invited to the commission’s recent budget defence session and had no reason to expect her name on the attendance register. The clarification follows a confrontation at the National Assembly after Senator Akpoti Uduaghan arrived for the NCDC budget defence and reportedly complained that her name was missing from the committee’s attendance list. Senator Natasha breaks silence on FG’s withdrawal of criminal charges

Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan has reacted to the Federal Government’s decision to withdraw the criminal charges earlier filed against her over alleged defamation and cyber related offences. The Kogi Central lawmaker said the move vindicates her long standing claims that the case was politically motivated and aimed at silencing her.​ Court documents show that the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation filed a notice of discontinuance on December 12, 2025, effectively ending the case marked FHC/ABJ/CR/195/2025 at the Federal High Court in Abuja. Joshua family mourns deadly Sagamu crash

The family of heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua says it is deeply saddened by the fatal road crash that killed two of his close friends on the Lagos Ibadan Expressway. The accident happened on Monday near the Makun axis by Danco Filling Station, involving a Lexus SUV carrying Joshua and three others.​ Two passengers, Ayodele Kelvin Olu, 36, a Nigerian British citizen, and Gami Sina, 36, a British citizen, died in the crash.
