NDLEA Arrests Lagos Hotelier, Seizes 1.7 Tonnes of Cannabis

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested Lagos hotelier and notorious drug baron Frank Chijioke Ibemesi, popularly known as Chisco Bee, following a protracted surveillance effort. Ibemesi, 42, was detained early Saturday at his Daisy Garden Hotel in Isolo, Lagos, where officers led him to a warehouse containing 42 jumbo bags and four cartons of Loud cannabis, totalling 1,762.8 kg. The raid also yielded cash in multiple foreign currencies. In concurrent anti-narcotics actions, the NDLEA intercepted efforts to distribute processed skunk from Osun, confiscating 11,135 kg of cannabis and detaining seven suspects. NDLEA Arrests Musician, Uncovers Lagos Illicit Drug Laboratory

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a Lagos-based musician, Godspower George Osahenrumwen, popularly known as Steady Boy, for allegedly attempting to receive a consignment of illicit drugs smuggled from the United States on behalf of his manager. NDLEA arrests Pretty Mike, 100 others at Lagos drug party

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested popular Lagos socialite Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, better known as Pretty Mike, along with over 100 other suspects, during a midnight raid on Proxy Nightclub, Victoria Island, Lagos. The NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, confirmed the arrests on Sunday, stating that the raid followed credible intelligence about a planned drug party at the venue, located at 7 Akin Adesola Street. Businessman Excretes 127 Cocaine Wraps After Arrest in Kano – NDLEA

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested a 52-year-old businessman, Ejiofor Godwin Emeka, at the Kano airport for allegedly ingesting 127 wraps of cocaine. The suspect, who runs boutiques in Lagos and Onitsha, was intercepted upon his arrival from Bangkok, Thailand. A body scan revealed the presence of illicit substances, leading to the recovery of 58 wraps from his underwear. The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has arrested 56-year-old Nigerian national, Uchechukwu Chima, in a major drug bust on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Oyarifa, a suburb of Accra. The arrest followed an intelligence-led operation that uncovered a substantial quantity of narcotics at the suspect’s hideout.During the search, NACOC agents discovered substances suspected to be narcotics. US Army Major Sentenced for Smuggling Guns to Ghana Hidden in Rice Barrels.

Kojo Owusu Dartey, a US Army Major, has been sentenced to 70 months in prison for smuggling firearms to Ghana, concealed inside blue barrels of rice and household goods.
