Gbajabiamila threatens N10bn suit gives Adeyemi 72 hours

Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, has threatened to file a N10bn defamation suit against Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi over allegations linking him to murder, bribery and other criminal acts The threat is contained in a letter dated July 6 2026 and signed by senior lawyer Kemi Pinheiro on behalf of Gbajabiamila’s legal team. Adeyemi is described as the self styled convener or director general of a controversial group known as the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council PFIPC which the presidency has already dismissed as a fake or unapproved agency. Gbajabiamila’s lawyers said Adeyemi made the allegations at a press conference in Abuja where he accused the Chief of Staff of demanding a huge share of the council’s alleged take off grant and of being involved in murder bribery and forgery.
