International Friendly: Jordan Deny Eagles With Late Equaliser
The Super Eagles of Nigeria were denied back to back friendly wins after being held to a 2–2 draw by Jordan in Antalya, Turkey. Nigeria came from behind to lead 2–1, but a late equaliser from substitute Mohammad Al Daoud ensured the game ended all square. Jordan drew first blood in the 17th minute through Mousa Al Tamari, who finished off a well worked move to beat the Nigerian defence. Nigeria responded before the half hour mark when captain on the night Moses Simon drilled home to restore parity.
