Turkish expert dismisses Osimhen Icardi rivalry talk

Turkish football analyst Bulent Timurlenk has played down claims of a growing rivalry between Galatasaray strikers Victor Osimhen and Mauro Icardi. He said the Nigerian and Argentine forwards have shown respect for each other and work as a united strike force.​ Speculation about tension between the pair dates back to summer 2024, when Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan and initially formed a partnership with Icardi before the Argentine suffered an ACL injury.
