Singer Chike: “I Have No Plans to Marry”
Nigerian singer Chike has said he has no intention of getting married, describing it as a “stupid step.” Speaking in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Chike explained, “In my personal opinion, I think it’s a stupid step to get married. Marriage is not for me.” The Running crooner also said his happiness depends on financial stability.“I need a lot of money to be happy,” he noted, adding that it’s not about greed but about living the kind of life he wants. Chike revealed that music was never part of his original career plan and that he only discovered his passion for it after university. Known for his soulful voice, the singer admitted some people see him as arrogant but said such opinions don’t bother him.
