An early morning fire has destroyed several shops at the Kwalemar Fatima Simra Market in the Dakata area of Nassarawa Local Government, Kano State. The incident occurred on Friday, just days after another major market fire in the state, raising fresh concerns about safety in crowded business areas. The blaze, which started in the small scale industrial section of the market, affected shops mainly involved in oil production and the recycling of plastics and nylon materials.
