PL officials ‘don’t want’ Man City to win – Rodri
Manchester City midfielder Rodri has launched a scathing attack on Premier League officials, claiming they “don’t want” his team to win the title after a controversial 2–2 draw at Tottenham. City were 2–0 up in north London before the game swung when a goal from Dominic Solanke was allowed to stand, despite the forward appearing to foul defender Marc Guehi before scoring. Solanke later produced a stunning scorpion kick to level the match, leaving City six points behind leaders Arsenal. “I know we won too much and the people don’t want us to win but the referee has to be neutral and for me honestly, it’s not fair,” Rodri told Australian broadcaster Stan Sport.
