Spain pick Chattanooga as 2026 World Cup training base

Spain will be based in the US city of Chattanooga during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Spanish Football Federation has announced. The city is about two hours from Atlanta, where Spain will play two of their three group matches. Chattanooga, a riverside city of around 190,000 people in the state of Tennessee, will host the European champions throughout the group stage. The federation said Luis de la Fuente’s team will lodge at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Downtown and train at the nearby Baylor School facilities.
