Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says the Islamic Republic “will not yield to the enemy” as anti government protests over economic hardship continue and U.S. President Donald Trump warns he is ready to intervene if demonstrators are killed.In a televised address, Khamenei said authorities would listen to citizens with legitimate complaints but insisted that “rioters should be put in their place,” drawing a sharp line between protesters and those he accused of seeking chaos.
