Nigerian officials involved in killing of Christians — US Senator Ted Cruz

United States senator Ted Cruz has alleged that some Nigerian government officials are complicit in attacks against Christians in the country.​ Cruz made the claim during a U.S. Senate Foreign Relations subcommittee hearing on Washington’s counterterrorism strategy in Africa, where he described Nigeria as the country with the highest number of Christians killed because of their faith. Lai Mohammed Urges Nigerians To Back Tinubu On Insecurity

Former Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has called on Nigerians to give stronger support to President Bola Tinubu’s administration in its efforts to tackle insecurity. He said the scale and complexity of today’s security threats make it impossible for government and security agencies to succeed without active citizen cooperation.​ Speaking in an interview, Mohammed noted that the Tinubu government has introduced several measures to curb terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other violent crimes.
