Eight children missing after orphanage attack in Kogi

Police bust job scam kidnap gang luring victims to Rivers

The Rivers State Police Command has uncovered and arrested a kidnap syndicate that lured victims from Lagos and other states to Rivers with fake job offers. US pulls some embassy staff from Nigeria over insecurity

In a travel advisory issued on Wednesday, the department urged American citizens to reconsider travelling to Nigeria from April 8 2026 due to crime, terrorism, kidnapping, civil unrest and limited healthcare services. Police confirm abduction of four in Oyo, launch rescue mission

The Oyo State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of four persons by suspected bandits along the Igbeti–Kishi Road in Oyo State.
