Egypt vs Nigeria friendly shifted to December 16

The international friendly between Egypt and Nigeria has been rescheduled for 16 December, according to Egyptian Football Association Vice President Khaled El Darandaly. The game, originally set for 14 December, was moved after FIFA confirmed that clubs are only required to release players for the Africa Cup of Nations from 15 December, prompting both teams to adjust plans so key stars like Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush can feature. The match forms part of final preparations for AFCON 2025 in Morocco, where seven time champions Egypt have been drawn in Group B alongside South Africa, Angola and Zimbabwe, with a 28 man preliminary squad already named by coach Hossam Hassan.
