According to eyewitness accounts, the man was caught while attempting to remove the motor from a refrigerator that had been brought to a repair shop in the area. Kasoa Man Arrested After Girlfriend Found Dead in His Room

The Kasoa Ofaakor District Police Command has arrested a 25-year-old man, identified as Kwame Whisky, after his girlfriend, Linda, 22, was found dead in his room at Awutu Papaase in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region. According to reports, Linda visited the suspect on Thursday, September 25, 2025, and shared a meal he had prepared. She spent the night in his room but was discovered lifeless the following morning. Nana Kwaw Abbey-Quaye, Chief of Papaase Number One and a relative of the deceased, confirmed to Adom News that Linda’s body has been taken to the police mortuary for preservation as investigations continue. Police say inquiries are ongoing to determine the cause of death.
