Yusuf orders arrest of killers of Kano mother, six children
Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has ordered the police to immediately find and arrest those behind the killing of a woman, Fatima Abubakar, and her six children in Kano. The victims were murdered in Dorayi Charanchi Quarters, a development that has thrown the community into mourning. In a statement by his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature, the governor described the attack as barbaric, senseless and a grave assault on human dignity. He said the crime was unacceptable and promised that his administration would not allow it to go unpunished. Governor Yusuf directed the Kano State Police Command to hunt down the killers and ensure they are prosecuted. He warned that anyone found to be involved would face the full weight of the law.
