Three CNG buses explode at Kaduna motor park, no lives lost
An early morning explosion involving compressed natural gas powered buses has rocked the Mando Motor Park in Kaduna, destroying at least three luxury vehicles. The incident occurred around 3 00 to 4 00 a m on Sunday when the buses were parked in preparation for interstate trips later in the day. Eyewitnesses said a deafening blast was heard before flames and thick black smoke engulfed the section of the park where the vehicles belonging to Silver Travel & Luxury Bus were parked. The fire quickly spread from the first CNG bus to two other newly acquired buses, leaving the fleet badly charred and mangled.
