NAF airstrikes kill terrorists, destroy IED factory in Zamfara
Nigerian Air Force conducted precision airstrikes on December 28 in Zamfara's Tsafe LGA, neutralizing several terrorists and destroying an IED manufacturing facility at Turba Hill bandit hideout and Kachalla Dogo Sule's camp. Intelligence confirmed human activity and operational structures at Turba Hill, leading to a direct hit that demolished a zinc-roofed building. The second strike targeted the IED hub linked to attacks along Dan Sadau–Magami axis, destroying multiple structures and igniting fires that crippled production capabilities. Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame confirmed post-strike assessments showed significant degradation of terrorist networks in Zamfara State. These operations highlight NAF's use of multi-source intelligence for high-impact responses against bandit strongholds.
