Six strikers battle for NPFL Golden Boot as season winds down
The race for the 2025 26 Nigeria Premier Football League Golden Boot has intensified, with six strikers now locked in a tight battle as the season enters its final stretch. With only a handful of games left, every goal could decide who finishes as the league’s top scorer. Leading the chase are Rangers International striker Godwin Obaje and Ikorodu City winger Joseph Arumala, who have both scored 11 league goals so far. Obaje has been the focal point of Rangers’ attack, while Arumala’s pace and finishing have driven Ikorodu City’s push up the table.
