Poland and Italy have said they will not join US President Donald Trump’s new Board of Peace under its current terms, adding to the list of Washington allies staying away from the initiative. He said Poland would continue to analyse the proposal and stressed that relations with the United States remain a priority, adding that Warsaw does not rule out joining if circumstances change. Tusk noted that Russia and Belarus had been invited to the Board of Peace, a factor that has made many Western countries cautious.
