Trump says US carried out deadly strikes on IS in Nigeria
President Donald Trump has announced that United States forces carried out deadly strikes against Islamic State fighters in northwestern Nigeria. He said the operation targeted militants he accused of attacking and killing Christians in the region. Trump made the statement in a post on his Truth Social platform on Christmas night. He described the militants as “terrorists” and “ISIS scum” and said they had been warned to stop the killing of Christians.
